Demand for business aircraft increasing in Mexico

Bombardier's Global aircraft family recently hit the milestone of having its first Global 6000 business jet begin operations in Mexico, according to a release. The aircraft was delivered to Aero Angeles S.A de C.V., an aircraft operator based in Mexico.

"We are delighted to see the first Global 6000 jet to enter service in Mexico," Stephane Leroy, regional vice president of sales in Latin America for Bombardier Business Aircraft, said. "The Global 6000 aircraft has a solid reputation in the industry and is the clear leader in its segment, offering a unique combination of performance, range and cabin comfort. This aircraft provides the world's leading companies with the ultimate business tool to make the most out of their business missions. Mexico and Latin America are key markets for Bombardier and we are proud to see our leading fleet of business jets grow even further."

The demand for business aircraft in Mexico is rising, due to economic growth, global companies choosing to offshore their operations to the country and the growing prevalence of very wealthy people in the area. Demand is only expected to increase in the future as these elements continue to be in play, according to the release.
