The Offshore Group announces manufacturing mission to Mexico

TUCSON, Arizona, March, 10, 2014 – In Saltillo, Coahuila from April 21 – 24, a number of influential North American decision-makers operating in Mexico's automotive cluster will participate in the "Automotive Manufacturing Mission to Mexico," summit. These leaders will discuss best practices, share ideas and discuss the latest trends related to doing business in one of the world's fastest growing economies.

Mexico is quickly gaining attention as an offshoring home for many manufacturing companies. These organizations look to establish a presence in the country to improve their standing in the international marketplace. However, despite all of the benefits offered by expanding to Mexico, many companies may not understand if the country can help them reach their business goals.

The La Angostura Manufacturing Community, located in Saltillo, will play host to this upcoming event. Participants will have an opportunity to understand the benefits of establishing a manufacturing presence in a city of 825,000 people, many of whom possess the strongest level of technical education in all of Mexico. In addition, those attending the summit will also have an opportunity to discover ways to lower overall operational costs by doing business in the country, hear from experienced personnel on the ground and uncover ways to secure financing to get their operation in Mexico off the ground as quickly as possible.

There will also be tours of production factories already in operation, an introduction into the many financial and governmental services offered to foreign companies, and those in attendance will have an opportunity to experience the culture and lifestyle of Saltillo up close.

Registration for this event will end April 20, 2015 and the fee includes registration for the conference, meals, hotel stay and transportation for tours of the city. If your organization is seriously considering an expansion to Mexico to take advantage of the manufacturing benefits present in the country, then you won't want to miss this event. Be sure to register today.
